When did your heart go missing?

Outside

Inside

Crochet top--- Fashion Q
Tribal cardigan--- H&M
Indigo skinnies--- H&M
Sperry Top-Sider's--- JourneysKidz

Today's outfit was styled around this awesome cardigan I purchased from H&M. What I really love about it is the pattern. The inside is a tribal design, but they turned it inside-out to make the cool pattern outside! It's really interesting and unexpected. I have quite a few crop tops, so I decided to wear this cream crochet one layered over a brown cami to coordinate with the cardigan. For bottoms, I went for my high-waisted indigo skinnies, and for shoes I went with some neutral-colored Sperry's since the outfit is pretty colorful. Oh, and the necklace I'm wearing is a cute little pink cupcake. =)

Festive.

Dress--- Macy's
Bomber jacket--- Fashion Q
Tribal leggings--- Walgreens
TOMS--- Toms.com
Nail polish--- "Rock Star" by Del Sol

Happy late Christmas! I hope everyone got awesome presents. I'm sharing with you my Christmas outfit today! I bought this dress years ago, but it still fits, surprisingly! The bow detail in the front is adorable, and the little circle cut-out in the back is subtle and sweet. Of course, I can't go out in the cold with bare legs, so I ventured for these leggings I got at Walgreens. Yes, a you read right. Pretty awesome leggings for something you find at a drug store, right? Plus, they were $8! I wanted to toughen up the look, so I went with this pleather bomber jacket. For accessories, I went with a furry headband and a feather necklace. I went with classic red TOMS to go with the dress.

Peter Pan collared blouse--- Love Culture
Flower sweater--- Forever 21
Shorts--- Macy's
Black tights--- Target
Beanie--- H&M
Necklace--- Old Navy
Booties--- JourneysKidz

Hello, everyone! Today, I'm wearing this lovely sweater from Forever 21. I really love how that flowers look like they're painted; it's really pretty. I'm wearing a Peter Pan collared blouse under it, so I can let the collar peek out from under. It also kinda looks like an attachment to the sweater. It's too cold to wear shorts alone at this time of year, so I slipped on some simple black tights under them to keep me warm. I guess I'm going for a more grungy look with the beanie and the necklace. Lastly, to keep my the bottom of my outfit more streamlined, I wore some black booties.

Corduroy.

Green checkered button-up--- Vietnam (Gift)
Color-blocked sweater--- H&M
Beige corduroys--- H&M
Bear hat--- Macy's
Boots--- JourneysKidz

Yay! It's finally cold, which means it is time to layer up! I got this sweater from H&M a while ago, but the reason I fell in love with it was because the pockets in the front are pleather! I thought it was really cute and unexpected. The color-blocking going on in the sweater is pretty cool too. The flannel I am wearing under it adds a bit of print to the outfit; plus, it matches the green on the sweater. I haven't worn corduroy in so long (probably the last time I wore them was when I was in kindergarten), so I was happy to find these. They're extremely warm too! The first time I wore them to school, my friends thought they were ugly, but who cares? I love them. Do you guys remember that story about the little bear named Corduroy? It was one of my favorite books when I was little. These pants bring back so many memories. =') Haha, anyways, the boots go with the pleather on my sweater, and to keep my head warm, I just went with this adorable bear hat. Oh, I flat-ironed my hair. You won't see that too often.

Noir.

Shirt--- Mom's closet
Jeans--- Old Navy
Fringe necklace--- Target
Lace-up boots--- Love D

It has been two weeks, I know. All of my finals are over though, and winter break just started, so I'll be able to post frequently now that I have more time! Yay!
I usually don't wear black a lot because I think it's a somewhat sad color, but today was an exception. I thought the print on this blouse was really cool, and the contrast between the black and white was really pretty. Whenever I wear a dark colored shirt, I like to wear light-colored pants to balance the outfit. I buttoned up all of the buttons on my shirt so I could wear this beautiful necklace (collars and short necklaces are a match made in heaven). It was a good chance to wear my black lace-up boots, so I whipped those out, and that's pretty much my outfit!

Down to Earth.

Floral dress--- Mom's closet (Vintage)
Cable-knit cardigan--- Abercrombie
Gradient scarf--- Claire's
TOMS Cordones--- Toms.com

Hello, everyone! I know Thanksgiving passed last week, but I didn't have time to post. This is actually what I wore for Thanksgiving dinner. I had this dress I found in my mom's closet, and I hadn't worn it yet, so I wanted to style an outfit around it. The dress was actually a size 6, and it was kinda long, so I had to put a belt on and pull up the excess fabric on the bottom to fit my proportions. I added this super warm cable-knit cardigan on to keep me warm and to keep a more laid-back feel. Adding to the color scheme, I put on this gradient green scarf with cute little tassels. The whole outfit was pretty much all earthy tones, so I slipped on my burlap TOMS. At night, I switched the cardigan to a navy blazer so I could be a bit dressier, but that's about it!

I would do anything for you.

Shirt--- Local store (Suzie's Deals)
Studded pleather shorts--- H&M
Polka dot tights--- DSW
Gray over-the-knee socks--- Calvin Klein
Doc Marten knock-offs--- JourneysKidz

So, unfortunately, the weather where I live is still pretty warm (An average of about 70 degrees F), even though it's almost winter. I really want to layer!
I was pretty excited to find these pleather shorts, especially since they were studded! I've been wanting pleather shorts for a while now. I got this simple plus sign shirt (It might supposed to be a cross, but it didn't look like it that much, haha) but in an XXL so that I could do an 80's knot in the front. I'm really into tying my over-sized shirts like that nowadays. I think layering cute tights under socks is really fun and unexpected, and to top it all off, I went with my floral Doc-Marten knock offs!

Teen Vogue Fashion Presentation.

Last weekend, I went to a Teen Vogue Fashion Presentation at the Macy's in South Coast Plaza! All of the models they showed were extremely pretty, and they all had perfect bodies, making me feel like I was nothing. D:
Anyways, they were showcasing a few trends: soft rock, military, menswear, and holiday.
Soft rock incorporates a lot of leather (my favorite!), which makes the outfit really cool and edgy. Pairing them with feminine pieces, such as a flowy top or a frilly dress balances the outfit and creates a great combination.
I saw that the military trend has a lot of structured pieces and they make a really bold statement, especially the main piece, the military style jacket! Different shades of dark greens, especially olive green, complete the whole look.
Now, on to menswear, one of my favorites! I was always fascinated with this type of clothing. I would always wear ties and blazers to school, and all of my friends would question me, lol. I'll talk about this another time, 'cause I could ramble on forever. Menswear consists of boyfriend jeans, a lot of buttoned and collared tops, and hats! Pairing these with feminine silhouettes keeps the outfit from looking too masculine.
Lastly, they showcased holiday trends! I'm so excited for the holiday season. Composed of different textures and sequins, you are sure to make a statement at your family's dinner! I especially love velvet and tweed. I think they make any outfit festive.
